Exactly, these "limitations" (or so we'll call them) from mods/admins are holding us back hahahaha, sorry Matt/Dali/Yaniv. I strongly think that it would help out exponentially to have a Ps3 based podcast, maybe get an interview or something with a few developers as they have done so greatly with for xbox. There are plenty of Ps3 exclusives coming out in 2009, way more than enough to at least have a little 30 minute to hour long talk about them.

Well Matt has said he has nothing to do with the PS3 which is a shame. Even when I didn't have a PS3 and Wii I read up on the news all the time so I could know what was happening and what was going to happen.

Been sitting here trying to think of what to say and I have to say I stumped. I think that this website is brilliant and you can see that it has all the basics to be a multi-platform website, but the 360 does seem to get more support that the other areas in terms of everything I think. Hell it has the most active forum, thats not a bad thing. But I think you guys are right in trying to expand the other areas like the ps3 and wii as it will only make the website more popular.

I used to be a ps2 fanboy and never thought of touching a xbox back in the day, but when ps3 was due out and kept getting put back, I held out for about a year before I collapse and bought a 360. I wanted to play the next generation games and sony were taking too long in which I believe they lost a lot off the gaming community to the 360 and ever since its been taking them longer to catch up. I also think that they decision to drop the dual shock from the control was another mistake which was one of the things that put me buying one when it did come out. That and the fact that it was priced like a house, never had any interest in the blu-ray dvds which was one of the reasons why it was priced so high I think.

I think sony lost alot of their loyal gamers to the 360 within the time differences of the release of the consoles. That said the reason why I bought a 360 was purely because of Dead Rising and I have yet too only see 1 game on the ps3 that has made me want to one, MGS4. In which I hope will eventually come to the 360 like bioshock did to the ps3. If it doesn't then maybe one day I will fork out for one.

Anyway, maybe new completions should be based on certain consoles with prizes for said consoles, so far I have only noticed 360 ones. As someone said early more ps3 or wii orientated podcasts to draw the crowds in. Or maybe when reveiwing a game, if it is on more than one console then maybe you guys could point out the differneces between them and see if one is more unique than the other. Another great thing would be to maybe have tournaments with the same game but having consoles battling it out against each other. Would work on like racing or sport games to see who got the highest or fastest win etc. But it would need honest people to give honest scores or somehow see they results on the live leaderboards.

Anyway off-topic but someone mention a remake of Final Fantasy 7, please tell me its true. Dish any info you have on that rumour because I once heard the same years ago, but gave up wishing. It is my all time favourite game and Godly deserves a remake, would love nothing more than to see my old summons causing havoc. I think that game had the best Magic using system to date.

Well PS3 isn't priced like a house anymore and peoples excuse is they can't justify owning a second console. That is rubbish, this is how fanboyism starts and ends. You end up paying more for the Xbox 360 than for the PS3 unless you are the most simplistic gamer who needs no accessories or LIVE.

The exclusives for the PS3 are widening the gap between the technical differences between the PS3 and the 360. PS3 exclusives are becoming very ambitious and sure they are not out yet (another great fanboy response, Sony=Delaystation 3) they will eventually come out and people will really see the strengths and weaknesses of each console.

Right now Multiplatform games are basically the same on both consoles, usually with better 360 version and a mediocre PS3 port. It's obvious that developers have a hard time developing for the PS3 but odds are that a new console will be out by Microsoft before Sony....again. The 360 won't be able to compete with the PS3 eventually, DVD vs Blu Ray just won't cut it soon. Sure they can do multiple disks for the game but its discerning to developers especially when they have to pay royalty fees for extra disks.

By a sales figure standpoint the PS3 doesn't have a real chance at surpassing the 360. Obviously in the long run with their 10 year plan it'll happen, but not this generation. Oh and sales should mean something to gamers as well. Sure they don't directly affect you but this is what decides what developers and publishers ultimately do.

Oh and for the Final Fantasy VII thing, they did actually want to do a remake for it. They stated if they could get the original development team together they would consider it. I mean obviously it will happen eventually, they've been remaking all their games and making spin offs as well. I think it was a huge mistake to show that Technical Trailer for Final Fantasy VII on PS3 though.

I agree with most of what is being said regarding the site. Our dilemma is that Yaniv and Matt know Xbox 360 only. They don't care if the PS3/Wii are left out of the site. All they care about is their Xbox 360 news and podcasts. It's a shame. Whether they will change or not is yet to be seen. If they don't, this site will never reach the potential they had hoped for.

Worldwide:
PS3 has sold 21 million consoles.
Xbox 360 has sold 27 million consoles
Wii has sold 40ish million consoles.

Those are the current figures. We know that the Xbox 360 made 27 million in 3 years. PS3 is just starting on year 3 with 21 million consoles. It is very possible for them to exceed MS figures for the same period. I am rambling now. sorry

I simiply said that it was my reason, but I meant ages ago which I didn't state, I know the prices have dropped radically but there is only one game which I wish to play on the ps3 and that is MGS4 and therefore am going to wait until possibly God of War 3 to get one. Hated how they left us on a cliff hanger in 2 lol.

God I love old Snake, I think he is the best what ever he is deemed out there (******). Hell taking on the the boss in MGS3 was possibly the best boss I have beaten. Just kept getting better and better.

I remembering reading a rumour that MS would bring out a 360 with a blue-ray drive equip in it, which doesn't surprise as they have had more different types off the smae console release out than I can count lol

Anyway another idea, I know we have a tips, tricks, achievements and trophies section but maybe it could be a bit more in dept for each game as right now it all seems a bit random. I know it is probably a big job, but maybe organise it a little bit more showing achievements, trophies, FAQs and hints of each new game for each of the consoles. along with a mini review of it and a community score of the game. Its probably a bad idea somehow but I'm just throwing them out there.

This and Killzone 2 is what ultimately pushed me over to purchase a PS3, Resistance 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 have been great though. I don't regret my purchase anymore

Dali, Yaniv, and I discussed a lot of the things that Nick and I had thought needed revised. Dali and Yaniv were very appreciative of the feedback we had given them. We discussed a wide variety of subjects including:

Site Content- We discussed this for a great length of time. We all agreed that the site was very heavily focused on Xbox 360 material and that we needed to branch out to the other platforms and hand-helds. Dali presented the idea of "Rotating Systems" which you can view in the site info section of the forums. In helping that along Dali named Nick and I the "Playstation Specialists". A lot of It can't be changed at the drop of a hat. You can all look forward to platform specific podcasts, interviews, and original content in the near future.

Accessibility- Some of you may know that Dali has been working very hard trying to re-configure site "code" to allow comments posted on the main site page to be viewable from the forums and vice- versa. It shouldn't be too much longer before everything is intertwined with the main site and forums. We also briefly discussed making the forums a little more accessible as a whole. Hopefully in the near future we will see more sub sections within each individual forum.

We are all doing our best to give our members a reason to make this their default gaming website. With some of the aforementioned plans we hope to achieve just that.

Oh man Killzone could be hard to explain since I didn't actually beat the first one. All you have to know is that Multiplayer is the most amazing thing since sliced bread. I never had so much fun with a multiplayer game before, Gears and Halo had decent multiplayer but it didn't last me very long. The ranking, perks, and various maps are just too awesome haha I didn't experience any lag on there like I do with XBL and the community is 5000 times better, mostly because people don't talk but you sure as hell don't have millions of 12 year olds on there. It's not similar to Gears of War 2 in the least bit, it's an FPS and an amazing one at that, check out my video of the game and you can get an idea of what it is like.

As far as the difference between FF13 and FFvs13 there's a few things

FF13 is a turn based RPG where as FFvs13 is an Action RPG much to the likes of Kingdom Hearts, which isn't surprising since Tetsuya Nomura is directing the game. FFvs13 is a MUCH darker game it seems, looks very unique compared to other Final Fantasy games. They are both set in the same "universe" but are not completely related story wise.
