PS3 ON G3!

On the site, its very obvious that the wii and ps3 are smaller groups than the 360, so i was thinking of ways to up that player and member count and i came up with a few.

-A Contest with the few members, and non members to get more people.
-Recently G3 got mentioned on fear 2's site, if somehow they got the chance to be mentioned on one of the upcoming ps3 game's sites then that would boost it quite a bit. Such as Uncharted 2...
-A PS3 based moderator. Yaniv, Dali, and Matt, are all Xbox players and help contribute largely to the population of posts and activities there. How bout a PS3 mod? I dont know i am just throwing ideas out there.

I actually agree there are next to NONE of us on here, Matt has done a great job getting people on the site but they are all 360 owners and it's obvious none of the admins care much about the PS3.

The only 2 people I can think of that play their PS3 are me and Evan. (Oh and you I suppose, since your posting here lol)

It's hard to build a community though so I am not sure in regards to what could help boost that. I really think getting some PS3 devs on the podcast would be great, but Matt told me he doesn't bother

That is a shame, im sure that putting a podcast up would definatly help out quite a bit. If you look at all the advancements being made in the 360, with the contests, polls, interviews, mentionings on sites, i think it is about time for a little movement to happen on this end. I play all 3 next gen systems so its not like im griping because im not getting attention here. The sites grown exponentially based on the work on the 360, so keep that moving and start wit the Ps3, then it will REALLY TAKE OFF. I could see the site hitting over a thousand members by May if that happened. Maybe thats a high marker but anything could happen

Well Matt and Yaniv won't have anything to do with the PS3 so it's up to us the community I suppose.

I do question why they made an All-Gaming Website if it's primarily based on 360 only members and their dedication to ONLY one platform though, strikes me as odd.

Eventually I will try to recruit members though. I'll ask Evan and Dali about it maybe.

I will definitely be writing a lot of reviews from here on out so that should take care of the PS3 side of things on the main site. However I am moderator to one of the most inactive forums in our boards. LOL I have nothing to moderate here!

Yeah, your workload is probably heavy huh? Ive already written the MGS4 one a long time ago so sorry to take away the best of the best from you haha. I played that game and read so much about it just to get into it that it was kinda sad.

I have got a lot of back games to review but for now I will be concentrating on upcoming releases. I hated that you only gave it a 9 but I still respect your opinion none the less lol

I didnt add my rating to reviews until my spore one so thats what Matt wrote in for me after he read it haha. I didnt know i was supposed to do it up until my 3rd or 4th review. It really is the best Spy game to date, and the story and characters add in almost the same emotion as Final Fantasy 7, which is still probably the best story as far as games go but that isnt the point. Speaking of which though, i cannot wait till they actually remake it

I never had the pleasure of playing a FF game . I can't wait for FF13. Does it carry a story?

Its a turn based rpg, and i grew up with my brother playing them religiously, i never liked them that much as a play style. Then again i havnt tried in years and i might like it now if i tried again, but i got to watch FF7 as if it were a movie and i remember being 12 and watching him beat it again, and i was amazed at the story. And yes, most all FF games do, and they are all new people, worlds and places so its not like you would be all that lost.

Final Fantasy 7 was my favorite Final Fantasy followed very closely by 6 and 4 so I REALLY hope they remake it but this is gettin slightly off topic

Yeah just a little bit. Back to the regular topic. We have to do something to get out member count up. We will doubtfully ever be as big as the xbox part of the site, but we can aspire to be second? At least were not like the wii, but then again, what do you expect coming from wii players hahaha. Anyone else got ideas to boost the members?

Tell friends with the console, advertise it on PS3/Wii specific forums, put it in your sig on those forums and people may notice it, if we could make big news or had big developers (not just 360 devs) on the podcast it would get a lot of hits and potentionally members, etc
