    Default Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you are all having/had a good Xmas. We dont usually do alot. As usual, we just had a small dinner with my immediate family, my girlfriend and my sister's boyfriend. Buuuut onto the thing we most care about: the gifts! (j/k...maybe). So what did you all get this year?

I didn't get much but it's pretty much exactly what I wanted. I got a Logitech G35 surround sound headset for my new gaming laptop that I bought a few months ago, a box set of Scorsese blu-rays and a bunch of small items like gift cards and stuff. How about you guys?

    Merry Christmas bro!

Glad to hear you got the things you wanted. As for myself? Got me Heavy Rain, Batman: Arkham City (yes I still need to beat Arkham Asylum) and Dark Souls for the PS3. Then had dinner with the immediate family, I don't know about you but I like to keep Christmas simple. Good gifts, good company, good Christmas imo. Merry Christmas to all.

I spent Christmas being sick and miserable, but I got tons of stuff. When I'm feeling a little better, I'll have to compile a list or something.

We had a good Christmas even though we kept it small this year. Dinner was just me, mom, bro, and my uncle that lives next door. As for gifts, got a few games I was wanting (albeit most of them will be "old" by you guys' standards)....Portal 2, Infamous 2, and Mortal Kombat. These are for PS3....not sure if I ever told you I finally got a dang PS3 system around the first part of November. Been playing my old PS2 up til that point and bro thought I needed a new one for my birthday. Best part is all the "old" games that came out a couple years ago for PS3 are still new to me AND now they're in the bargain bins. HA!! I know, I know...I'm a cheapo.....so be it. LOL! Other than those games for Xmas, got a few more for birthday....Little Big Planet, Infamous (love that game), God of War 3, and Gran Turismo 5. The rest of the Xmas loot was just other stuff I needed....some small Irwin quick clamps, Kobalt telescoping magnet and mirror set, clothes, etc (yeah, underwear......it's not Christmas around here unless somebody buys you a pack of underwear! LOL! ).

Ha, thankfully, I actually was able to taste our turkey dinner. Good thing too 'cause my wife makes the best freakin' turkey. And I made a delicious ham, but there unfortunately weren't any leftovers because I dropped it on the floor. Ugh! Oh well, at least we had a good holiday and we got tons of stuff that we don't need. Sadly, everyone but my wife refuses to buy me video games, so I only got a few PSP games: Daxter, Twisted Metal: Head On, Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow, and Killzone: Liberation (already have a digital copy). I also got Jingle All The Way and American Psycho on Blu-ray. Also got a bunch of toys: the NYCC 2011 exclusive Spider-Man Mini Muggs, Big Daddy Plush Doll, a pack of Mario figures, two packs of Pokémon figures, and a plush Boba Fett. And I got some candy, COG tags, new shirts from T-Shirt Hell and Glennz, pajamas, a new sweater, a Mario 1-Up hat, Star Wars Creepy Crawlers, new slippers, a Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch (might try to sell it), Lord of the Rings Pez dispensers, four sheet sets (yeah...), a desk organizer, an awesome RC plane, a rotisserie, a Shark mop (already have one), and other random stuff that I can't really remember. So, yeah, I'd say I did pretty well. Not as well as my son, though...holy crap, he got a lot of stuff. We're still trying to figure out where to put all of his new toys and furniture.

What I got pales in comparison to what he got! He got a huge hobby horse, tricycle, desk with chair, spinning Elmo chair, Sit 'N Spin, clothes, and tons of toys and books. And we bought a big bag of 250 balls and turned his playpen into a ball pit. We had to leave a lot of stuff at my sister's place because we couldn't fit it all into our car! Between two aunts, an uncle (as well as his fiancé and her daughter), two grandmas, a grandpa, and a great-grandma, he got more stuff than he knows what to do with. And he's going to see a bunch of my wife's relatives this weekend, so he'll probably get even more stuff. He's doing way better than I did as a kid!

Merry Belated Christmas guuuuuuuuyssss!!! Was away from my laptop as it was getting fixed so I haven't had internet access besides my phone for a while.

As for my Christmas I had a typical one, got drunk with my dad and family what can I say we're Hispanics that's what we do lol. We usual have the family dinner Christmas eve. Christmas day I spent it with friends we had a secret santa thing this year. Good times didn't get much some Blu-Rays, the UFC Encyclopedia which I hinted at wanting for some time lol and some cash. Also got a sweet Gears 3 shirt <3. No games this year

Heh, we were actually joking about this at some point during the holidays. My sister-in-law's husband is Mexican and there are one or two other Mexicans in the family through marriage, so the topic came up. It's great having some cultural diversity in the family; we can fling racist comments back and forth without anyone getting mad. Ha ha. My family is, like, 99.9% white so it's an interesting change of pace. (Interestingly enough, most of my family is Irish and almost nobody drinks.)

This is very late but I haven't been on a computer except for work in a few weeks. Just seems like when I'm done for the day, the last thing I want to do is get on a computer. But I have a break right now and my list will be shorter than my explanation. 1) Turtle Beach Ear Force X12 headphones for 360 and PC. It's more than I hoped for or expected and I love em.
