    Default It Might Be Long

I am sure that the relative slowness on this site is because of the great games that have come out. I would like to post a long short review of some of the games I have played.

I have had the chance to play both MW3 and Battlefield 3 multiplayers. I have yet to play any of the campaigns so I can't comment on that but with regard to the MP, I can't say one is better than the other. They are so different that it seems stupid to say one is superior. I am a run and gunner and it feels so different in each game. Same thing for those who like to camp. It seems like MW3 has more game modes but that might just be me not understanding the menu on BF3. One thing I don't understand is why you have to like one but not the other. Enjoy the gaming.

Played an hour or so on Arkham City and thought it was fun and something to talk about but not a game I would recommend to someone who wasn't a fan of the Asylum or the comics. I did appreciate the references most wouldn't get but I wouldn't suggest it as GOTY.

Now, Skyrim is the first game I payed for before I picked it up. And I probably wouldn't have, had the good fans on this site not convinced me to play Oblivion half a year ago. One week into ESIV, I prepaid for a game that had yet to release even screen shots. Last Monday, I tried to talk a friend into going to a MW3 release party without any intention of buying the game. That would have been my first time playing a game when it was released since my buddy called me up and said, "we are getting Halo 2 at midnight, wanna play?" and I said, "what's Halo?"

I did not get Skyrim at midnight. I was almost asleep at 7 that night. I did, however, get the game during my lunch break and pretended to go to the bathroom so I could read the booklet in the toilet. Not my proudest moment but it was an awesome moment. I spent so much time on the game that my brother called me yesterday and asked why he hadn't seen me playing the game last night when I was too tired to follow storylines.

Good post. And the part about the relative slowness of the website due to the release of so many AAA titles is spot on. Can only play so many games at a time, all the while keeping the daily news feed up to date. It's an intricate balancing act that should become easier over the coming months. That is until Mass Effect 3 comes out.

Batman is no where near GOTY material. Although fun, it felt really repetitive and I rushed through the game ASAP. Completed 50% in 3 days. MW3 is fun with friends. I heard BF3 is a little more complex, so it takes more time to understand it. Still have yet to try it, but will do so one day. Not sure if its console worthy as many people say the PC version blows the console one out of the water.
