Batman Arkham City

So I just beat the game and all the sidequests (minus like half of the Riddler challenges and the random attacks you have to stop) the other day and wow. This is easily GOTY for me so far. The story, the city, the villains, the new abilities, Catwoman. Everything about it is just perfect imo. What did you all think for those who played it?

I haven't even played all of the first one yet. But I'm making a ton of money off of codes for the Batman Beyond suit, so I'm quite pleased with the game so far. Ha ha.

If you read my review, you know I think its stellar. I just cant think of anything truly bad to say about this game. I mean, it blends dark themes well with the Batman of my childhood and they've fixed the problems I had with AA. I do wish I Catwoman could have had more story tho, since she's so fast and stealthy: I loved playing as her.
And the riddler challenges are fun too.

Yeah Catwoman was surprisingly fun to play as. Exploring the city with her was a bit of a pain (gliding and long range Batclaws > whip and climbing up buildings) but being able to climb on ceilings changed the layouts of some places dramatically. And combat with her was actually really enjoyable. I love those spike things you can lay down. Definitely makes taking out large groups alot easier with her lower health.

And yeah the Riddler challenges were definitely harder and more varied in this one. Too bad I'm never going to find them all in this like I did in AA. 400 is just too much for me to handle considering I rarely ever do collection missions in any game let alone so many in an open world.

I don't think it was the GOTY for me. Yes it was fun but I finished 50% in 3 days. I'm not one to do side missions etc. I wanted to play as Catwoman but didn't wanna have to pay the extra $$$ for it since it was my brothers game and not mine. Overall its a fun game and can be a contender, but don't see it getting GOTY
After I beat the game I didn't enjoy how all the henchmen in the city had machine guns. Felt like you can't really go anywhere without running into them and having them shoot at you. Overall fun game and would recommend.

Batman arkham city is an action adventure game which i'd played a lot of time on my PC..............The music and graphics of this game are toooo cool...

Arkham City was great! I got mine at lokisplanet.com off a competition they were having and it came with the Robin DLC along with Catwomen so it was a lucky win for me! I have completed everything in the main story including the riddler challenges and how it ends with the riddler was pretty amazing! I'm just going through the challenges now and i will be 100% soon!
