Default Wind Waker VS Twilight Princess

Which did you prefer more? I've played both and love Wind Waker much more by far. It's one of my favourite Zelda games. Just love sailing and reaching an island to explore. Also the sidequests and story are far better in y opinion. When playing Twilight Princess it felt so much of a drag and not fun at all. I spent playing WW for around 8 hours straight yesterday, I pulled an all nighter on it lol. Reminds me of when I was younger also.

I voted Wind Waker as well. Visually, I thought Twilight Princess was incredible and I actually liked playing as a wolf from time to time. I hated sailing in Wind Waker and it only became tolerable once I got the Ballad of Gales; however, I thought the story and overall gameplay was better in Wind Waker.

I actually haven't played either one. I mean, I've spent a few minutes with them, but I haven't put some serious time into them. Zelda games are always hit and miss with me and after the big miss that was Majora's Mask, I've been turned off by most of the games. But with upcoming releases, I'm starting to gain interest again, so I will definitely play both of these sometime soon. I even went out and bought a copy of Phantom Hourglass ($6 at Sears) to help get me back into the groove and I of course want to get OoT 3D.

Hmm, in terms of story, the Wind Waker is probably tied for best Zelda game. I mean, it gave Ganondorf motivation as to why he's always trying to take over the kingdom as opposed to just being evil. However, I like the Zelda games where Link is more of an adult as opposed to a kid. The seriousness makes for better story and it always seems a little offputting when the King of Evil can be killed by a 10 year old.
On the other hand, I love the art direction of Twilight Princess. The wolf parts can be a bit boring, but the new puzzles and awesome graphics make it stick out in my mind as a Zelda game that made the Wii a big contender. It also has some of the best boss fights since OoT.
also, the Gorons rocked and the Twilight Princess sumo fights were the best!

Ocarina of Time....oh wait that wasn't an option was it. I never actually played Wind Waker so I'm not voting. I did however like Twilight Princess alot. I just feel it wasn't too memorable. Nothing really stood out as "x feature or direction is the best in any Zelda game".

From what I've heard, you would probably like Wind Waker more. Currently, I'm leaning towards Twilight Princess simply because I used it to hack my Wii. Heh.

    Reviving old threads LETS GOOOOO!!!

I played both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess numerous times and I prefer Twilight Princess. I really liked the whole wolf thing and Midna's character. Plus personally I liked the final battles with Ganondorf in Twilight Princess.

I didn't like Minda because she didn't STFU for 2 minutes.
