    Default Netflix price raise

Ok, so I'm sure there are a lot of people pissed about the raise in prices on netflix, so who here has a problem?
I'm not that pissed because I knew eventually it would come and it's still cheaper than cable.
However, if the service stays the same: i might drop them. If I'm paying more money, I better see some seinfeld, pokemon (I know, I'm lame), better horror movies (not this B movie crap, I'm talking Dawn of the dead, Alien, Halloween etc) and more classic films (Casablanca, 12 Angry Men etc)

I'm pretty upset about this because they just raised the damn price a couple of months ago, forcing me to downgrade to the 2-at-a-time plan. It's getting to the point where the price is no longer worthwhile to me so I may have to consider canceling my account...but I have to admit that it won't be an easy decision.

I just heard about this and didn't mind at first. It wasn't until I saw how much the increase is that I became unhappy. I guess I'll keep the service until the increase in September and look at other options in the meantime.

yeah, that $2 raise a few months back for instant and 1 DVD wasnt too bad, but $6 brings my fees to $16 a month. I guess the good news is that I stream movie a lot so I'm getting my monies worth. I might just do instant watch since I dont get more than 2 dvds a month. But seriously, I better see some improvements soon

My plan will go up to $20 a month, which is ridiculous because that's how much I used to pay for four movies. What really gets me is that the e-mail they sent tries to make it sound like they're doing this for our benefit, which of course is total crap. By paying more money, we're not getting any improvements whatsoever. Blah.

The only thing keeping me from switching to Blockbuster is the Instant Watch. But if they ever add that to consoles, I'll switch in a heartbeat. When it comes to the rentals, Blockbuster is basically Netflix and Gamefly combined. And I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than both.

thats ridiculous man. Yeah, they pretty much only have instant watch as a claim to fame. If blockbuster had that first, I would have never stopped going there. But then my neighborhood blockbuster closed down so I pretty much had no choice but to get netflix if I wanted to watch a movie.

I've only done the instant watch (free trial) but to me there is really nothing to watch. I can find more shows just browsing through the internet. I can spend an hour or more trying to find a movie to watch with my GF.
