Hello all. New here and looking forward to whats ahead.
My name is Aaron, I'm from N.Ireland, Im 24, have two kids and I love games.
I love playing games and writing about them. I also like writing in general, give me a topic and i'l write about it.

Ive been playing games since the Sega Master System II, way back when Alex the Kid was built into the system. I then moved on to a commadore 64, playing Dune and Monkey Island. Boy those were the days. Then i got my hands on the Atari. I had a Sega Mega Drive and a Sega Saturn also. GameBoy and GameBoy pocket came into my hands due to how small and interesting they were.

I then got the Super Nintendo, moved onto Playstation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, Playstation 2 & slimline, Xbox, Nintendo DS, PSP then the Wii and finally Xbox 360. Ofcourse I've had numerous PC's and laptops throughout the time aswell. One thing I've never touched is the Playstation 3, dont know why, but I'm not a fan anymore. Would still like to try it though.


Pretty amazing, going back in time. Well anyway, enough of my rant.

Good to meet you Aaron. As always, it's good to see a fresh face around here. Looks like you've been playing games even longer than I have! I didn't really start until 1988 or '89, but I can still say I've been around to watch it evolve quite a bit.

I can understand not being as interested in the PS3. I wanted one so I could play the exclusives like Ratchet & Clank and Heavy Rain, but to be honest, I have yet to be impressed by the console. The controller feels awkward to me after the more ergonomic Xbox 360 controller and most of the games aren't that great. I do love a small handful of exlusives (maybe 10), but for the most part, I don't feel like I got my money's worth.

It's all hype in my opinion. Playstation 3 doesnt quite feel like a console.
All its bling is just unnescessary, Sony think they are king of consoles, but i'm unconvinced.

Xbox 360 beats any console out there.

Welcome, Lino! Can't say I've ever heard of someone only having a 360 for Fable, just because so many people seem to hate it. I personally love the series, though. It's a lot easier to enjoy them if you don't listen to anything that Peter M says! Out of curiosity...why play Fable on a console instead of PC?

Hi Murgatroyd7. I did play the first fable on my pc when i first discovered it, but it didn't feel right it was awesome fun but its better as a console game imo and when i heard fable 2 were going to be exl to xbox360 i felt it had a reason ;P And the first game on pc seems more like a emu than a game fit for the pc hehe. And you are totally correct about not listening to Peter M, he's just ridiculous, when i heard him bragging about making Fable 3 in a year i got so mad cus i really don't care about the mainstream game, but the side quests and the exploration possibilities. But what i've heard so far i guess it doesn't seem that bad. I'll see when i get it :P

The first game I ever beat was Wizards & Warriors for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
