Rocket: Robot on Wheels
I need to know something, has ANYONE else played this game? I have such fond memories of it from my childhood but have learned recently that not only has no one played it, they don't even know of it.
Rocket is a platformer about a robot trying to save an amusement park before the owner gets back, as he was supposed to be taking care of it. In the game you collect tokens(equal to notes in banjo kazooie) and tickets(equal to stars in mario). The tokens help you learn new moves where the tickets help unlock new levels.
The game featured a pretty unique (pre-half life 2) physics system. You're main weapon is your tractor beam which you pick up objects and launch them. The physics were demonstrated well in your wide array of transportation options as each level had its own vehicle.
The way I discovered the game is as a kid I actually chose the wrong game at Toys R Us. I meant to pick up Space Station Silicon Valley, but ended up more than pleased with my choice.
The reason why I'm making this thread is because I brought the game to college with me and am trying to introduce it to my friends, but no one likes it! Can anyone back me up, or am i really the only major fan of this game.
For reference, the game was developed by Sucker Punch the devs of Sly Cooper and inFamous and was produced by Ubisoft.

Nope sorry. Best bet is probably Murga as he's always into these kinds of obscure titles that no one's played :p

Ha ha, I normally would be your best bet with something like this, but I unfortunately haven't played the game. I do know about it, though, and it used to be one of the games I wanted back when I was still playing the N64. I'm not quite willing to shell out $20-$30 bucks on a copy without playing it first, but I'll see if I can obtain it by other means. If so, I'll let you know what I think.
