    Default Okay, here's the first stupid question from a new member...

    Is there a monthly fee for access to SCII...as with WoW, or is it just the cost of software with unlimited access.

    I dont have the game yet but there is no monthly fee. The only genre of games that require monthly fees are MMO's (Massively Multiplayer Online) such as WoW and the sorts. Starcraft 2 and 90% of all other games are free to play online besides your monthly internet bill.

    Yeah, theres no monthly fee. if that was the only thing holding you back, get it, you won't be disappointed.

    No monthly fee just buy the CD and always secure your serial number...

    No, everything on Battle.net except for WoW don't require subscription fees. If Starcraft 2 had a monthly fee, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
