Noob need help with Starcraft

I just recently got BroodWar, been tryin real hard to get it ^_^, have looked up faqs about help, they just don't seem to cover on how to get quicker, that's my problem getting up to speed with fastest, anyone have any advice. I'm registered with ICCUP under the same name with a _. Any help here would be hot. How often and for how long should I practice, and also when people say you need to keep getting workers how many should I have at one base before I transfer any over like a good limit for the mineral line. Help with practice would be nice. Hi all ^_^

It just takes practice. You should try to have double the workers as there are minerals fields, once you have double, or close, you should start expanding to another area, but make sure you have defenses.

ya... all games takes practice... Expending ur energy and get bigger armies. That should do the trick. Defence is always the key to get up to ur enemy.. forget about levelling... seek more members!!
