Which Warcraft are you talking about? Warcraft, War2 or War3? They're all very different. War2 there's only 2 races, Orc and Humans/Elves. They're basically exactly the same, except for the mages which have different spells. War3 has 4 races, all completely different and you have Heroes that you can level and acquire spells or items for. War3 is more about the Heroes where Starcraft2 is more about who can build the bigger army and gather the most resources. I couldn't get into War3 as much as SC, so I'd recommend Sc2.

I never played Warcraft either, but Star craft is like an mroe addictive version of crack...that tastes like candy.
Its technical but like a game of chess, there are dozens of things to look out for and take into account, and its fun to play with your friends. Also, the online games are hecktic and fun. I'd rec Star Craft 1 & 2, both good stories

It looks like the OP wants to know how Starcraft compares to World of Warcraft rather than a typical game in the series. I think it should be noted that this and WoW are completely different games; a lot of people don't realize that Warcraft games were once very different.

Yes World of Warcraft is a completely different genre of game so forget WoW when it comes to Warcraft 1-3. The original Warcrafts are Real Time Strategy games, like Starcraft. I haven't played SC2 so I can't comment on that but I played lots of WC2 and WC3 back in the day and liked them more than SC1 personally. I still play the odd game of DotA with friends (a WC3 mod).

does it mean that if warcraft is more to building heroes and starcraft is more on creating bigger army. Does it mean that there's no specific character which has better strength or skill and there's no need to concentrate on any characters but to build up the strength for the whole army will do to win the enemy? But it still depends on the player in the group whether which character they are using rite?

Yes, in starcraft you just build units which don't level at all. build more units than your enemy and win. In Warcraft RTS, you have one or two heroes that you level, get items for and spells that are more powerful than all the other units. The Heroes if used well can really change the tide of a battle.

I think your still thinking of these games as WoW. In RTS you control and build an entire army not controlling a single character. There are heroes in WC3 but they act as just a single unit in a whole army and one player controls them all

I was never a big fan. As far as I'm concerned, nothing beats Age of Empires II. But Starcraft has been a fan favorite for years and I'm sure it must be popular for a reason.

I'm not very familiar with WoW, but I imagine you can likely call the support for help. Or you can just wait the 72 hours, which might actually prove easier and more successful.

Go here, sign into your BNet account, and ask a Blizz poster (blue lettering) about it. Don't forget to give them your character name and realm name, then they will tell you what happened.
