    Default Deadliest Warrior

Just got through with playing the demo a few minutes ago. Is it just me, or is this one of the worst fighting games ever made? I've played many fighting games over the last two decades and I have never hated one quite as much as this. It felt a little bit like Bushido Blade at first because of the ability to kill your opponent in one or two hits, but it's not even close to being fun and it is incredibly unbalanced. And personally, I think the concept of the game is a bit silly. I don't know what the show is like because I had never heard of it until this game came around, but attempt at a fighter is just plain awful.

Does anyone else agree? Or do you think I'm completely wrong?

It just sounded like it would be an awful game. Kinda like the Prison Break game lol. I actually kinda like the show but moreso for the weapons demonstrations than the "simulation" or even the end result cause that's kinda corny and unrealistic with too many variables to say for sure. I knew that game would be terrible though

Yeah, this was just one of those games you knew was going to end up bad, you just didn't know to what degree.

Ha ha, exactly. I must say I certainly wasn't prepared for it to be this bad.

ok, i played the full version and can say that it has its fun points. Throwing a spear into a dude's head is always hilarious and the apache is deadly
but otherwise the game is so frakking difficult (almost impossible on "deadliest" setting) and there's no soundtrack! The matches are so quiet and empty.
However, who can pass up fighting a Spartan against a samurai?
    I couldnt.

I played the demo and have to say, one hit kills tend to piss you off. Especially when two seconds in a ninja throws a throwing star and takes your head off. Not for me, haha. My friend got it and loves it, though. He's a big fan of the show. I'm not, maybe that has something to do with it.

Me. I don't really get the appeal.

I don't think one-hit kills are so bad. After all, I used to love playing Bushido Blade. The combat system in this game is just horribly flawed. I'm fine with a difficult learning curve, but this is more than just a tough game. This is just...unfair. I have a hard time imagining that anyone could enjoy this game, but I'm assuming that if anyone who does enjoy it would be a fan. Like I mentioned before, I had never even heard of the show, so there isn't anything for me to get excited about. I'd rather play Tournament of Legends.

Yeah, this game is completely not for everyone. hell, I'd rather play some Soul Calibur 2 over this game any day of the week.
But its fun to mess aroudn with. I think its only like a $10 game, so no big loss really.
Also, I need to play Bushido Blade, i keep hearing good things about it in comparison to this game.
