Minecraft as well was a slow starter for me, I don't have a whole lot of experience with Second Life and other games of the genre. When I first started playing I found the community to be a bit childish on some servers, so I usually just played single player. I think it's just a nice diversion most of all, but as I said, recently I've been building a lot more, and am really starting to see why people get into it.

One massive obsession I had a while back, was with Persona 4. I really, REALLY need to get back into it, this is why I shouldn't stop playing JRPGs. I don't think I'll ever get off disc two of FF9.
Yeah, I definitely want to give Scott Pilgrim another chance later; I just don't have the patience for it at the moment. Maybe once I can start getting better sleep and maybe a comfier chair. Heh. When it comes to playing Minecraft online, your best bet is to play with people you know. I know a few guys who have a server set up with some of their friends and they're basically working on building a city together. As far as I know, they respect each other's creations. Once I actually purchase the full version of Minecraft, I'll be on their server and maybe they'll let me invite you as well.

You know, ever since moving up from the PS2 to Xbox 360, I very rarely play JRPG's. I used to play them constantly, but I haven't played one since Eternal Sonata (which is really good, by the way). I did buy the first Suikoden through PSN, though, so I'll eventually play that. I absolutely loved Suikoden II (which goes for a TON of money online; I paid $5 when I was a kid). Oh, wait, I also started playingThe Crystal Bearers, but I need to start that one over. After investing so much time into Grandia II and Dragon Quest VIII, nothing else has really compared (although FFX was close).

I'm getting FFXIII and DQIX for Christmas, so maybe those will help draw me back in.

For me its Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. Really the best racing game since Hot Pursuit 2 which is still my favorite Racing game of all time. Havent played Singel Player much but so far its good but what stands out is Multiplayer I had a full room the other day with 5 friends and 2 random guys who joined and we played for like 4 hours of just racing and playing cops vs racer forgot the name of the mode interceptor something like that. I just hope they keep supporting the game and release some more MP stuff like a new mode, more cars and tracks (Tracks are kind of limited). But so far its a must have it you like racing games and have a couple people to play with.
I actually really didn't like what I played of NFS: HP. I loved the original when it came out, but this has left me unimpressed. Maybe I'll rent it sometime and try playing it for a couple of hours and see if it changes my mind. I really want to like it because of that nostalgia, but I've lost faith in the series as a whole; I think I've hated every NFS game after the first three.

I think the really big thing about minecraft is that it shows a reflection of yourself in the structures that you create. For example, I often built small houses next to the sea or lakes, with a dock and boat, etc.

I didn't realize until later that I was trying to revitalize my cottage that I remember so fondly of in my childhood.

Something of real value is always expensive - you have to give away a great deal. And to give a lot, you must first take a lot.

I know it's a little late but I'm pretty hooked on Team Fortress 2 right now. Playing Heavy, Pyro, and Soldier and trying to master the Spy class.
